How to pack a vacuum backpack for easyJet

Our repack worked at the gate. My advice is to do the same checks at home, with time to change your packing or book the right allowance if needed.

1. Check your booking. Confirm which bags are included and compare the current airline allowance with your planned load.
2. Spread out bulky items. Avoid stacking rigid objects where they push out the front or sides. Keep sharp items and electronics outside the vacuum compartment.
3. Compress soft clothing. Put compressible textiles in the vacuum section, close the airtight zipper correctly, and use the mini vacuum to remove trapped air.
4. Close the expansion zipper and measure. Check the fullest points of the packed backpack, not just an empty-bag specification.
5. Weigh it and keep it manageable. Compression reduces volume, not the weight of your belongings.

Does vacuum compression guarantee my backpack will fit?
